Ank, except if you find a way to make a working executable again, the TROM tournament has to be delayed, after having downloaded the new DLC and beta campaign, my TROM crashes on launch....

Que peut-on y faire... sauf jouer à la campagne multi !

Les gars hier j'ai testé avec un pote sur la version vanilla, on y a passé genre 4 heures d'affilé, 0 bug !

Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you Ank but the patch brings up more issues then it resolves.
I've been able to reinstall everything and ad the latest hotfix.
Problem: A lot of units are missing from the previous TROM version For example russias preobrazhensky guards are missing...

So till the final 1.65 release, For ones who want to use The auto-installer for TROM 1.65 beta instead of Johan’s zip folder(3rd step) above that’s the link:

You must already have TROM 1.64 installed in order to use the 1.65 beta patch.

Preobrazhensky Guards were not a CA production, but came out of Ornamentum. Nothing to do with Elites Units of the West.

moi ca crash..tout le temps..je fait une nvelle W7 install....je pense que j'ai merdé avec des drivers ou autre....

Ouep apparemment ça marche aussi mais c'est une bêta donc provisoire, le pack complet ne devrait plus tarder quoi qu'il en soit on peut jouer avec la bêta jeudi soir pour ceux qui l'ont installé.

I totally agree. I just ran the 1.65beta installer http://www.sendspace.com/file/m1hs49 over v1.64, thats all. We had a 3v3 battle yesterday.

Well my Preobrazhinsky guards are still missing even with the latest patch (self installer) and my SP campaign crashes on load !

Did you uninstall 1.64 and then install again ?
Can you please try to uninstall everything including etw and then install etw --> v1.64 --> v1.65beta with installers. It shouldnt crash afterall!

Well I did as you said Ank.
Deleted all etw files, made then a clean etw install, then TROM 1.64 install and TROM patch 1.65 install.
And the same problem persists. My Russian campaign crashes and the Preobrazhensky guard is missing.
But that's not all...
I couldn't even launch the game because of ...... the README file which gives you bad installation instructions !!!!!!
In the readme file it says:

To install The Rights of Man, run the installer program by doubleckicking the TROM_Setup.exe file. The installer program will install all components needed to run TROM into your ETW directory. The installer will guide you through the installation process. When promted, point the installer to the directory in which you installed Empire Total War. Usually this directory is:
[drive]:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data

The problem is that the installation path is not "...\empire total war\data" (as it says in the readme) but as it is put correctly in the selfinstaller installation path box "...\empire total war" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL First time I get problems because having read the readme file. (You guys should have named it DONTREADME !!! )
All that none sense because someone made a bad readme and omitted the Ornamentum Preobrazhensky Guard unit............

Anyway, it's installed now, but I can't play my campaign on which I spent A LOT of time and Preobrazhensky guard is still not available.
2 Days spent doing BS just to be back at the starting point lol...
